A picture-perfect place: Welcome to "Elfenwinkel by the Lake"—a lovingly furnished wooden house for 3–4 guests, nestled in the natural idyll on the edge of Gartow. Here, your escape from everyday life begins—with the feeling of truly arriving. Never underestimate the power of a creative break—it’s the key to a fulfilled and relaxed life. A cozy oasis with charm: Our approx. 62 m² holiday home is located in a quiet wooden house settlement. You’ll find everything you need: a pellet stove for cozy evenings, fast Wi-Fi, 3 TVs, 2 garden loungers, a baby bed, and a high chair—all included. A charcoal grill is available, and the fully equipped kitchen features a dishwasher, coffee machine, oven, and microwave. Two covered terraces invite you to linger. In the discreetly fenced garden, enjoy nature—listen to birdsong in the morning and watch bats at dusk. Ideally suited for 3 adults; for a fourth guest, there’s a sofa bed or folding guest bed. The secluded, fenced garden and terrace area is a highlight. Through a back gate, you reach the dyke of Gartow Lake in just a few steps. The house is a short walk from Gartow Lake—perfect for walks, cycling, swimming, surfing, or pedal boating. Several restaurants are along the lakeside path. A water playground, mini golf, tennis courts, the Wendlandtherme, shops, bike rental, and a pharmacy are within walking distance. The Wendland region is famous for the annual Cultural Landpartie in May and local marksmen’s festivals. Enjoy sociable gatherings, dancing, culture, and culinary delights. Nature reserves such as the Elbe meadows, a biosphere reserve, and a beaver trail await. Hitzacker, Lüneburg, and the Elbe are nearby. If you are allergic to oak processionary moths, consider preventive measures or plan your trip outside their season, as many oaks in the area may host them.
